Autumn is here - mix autumnal flavors into your cocktails

It's the beginning of autumn, time to bring autumnal flavors into your glass. Our Dover liqueur range includes persimmon and chestnut, for example, which you can use to conjure up great drinks. For example, the "Aki Royal" with whisky and Vermouth Rosé.

Negroni Week - mix your drink with Awamori

It's currently Negroni Week, so there's hardly a better time than now to mix yourself this popular and delicious cocktail. Traditionally made with gin, there are of course other ways to make it. In this case with Awamori instead of gin, the traditional spirit from Okinawa.

"Viva Agave" - mezcal or tequila? Mezcal AND tequila!

Mezcal and tequila in a cocktail, is that necessary? Shouldn't the question rather be: Mezcal or tequila in a cocktail? Not at all! Because the symbiosis of both agave spirits is great fun in a glass! And they go perfectly together.

The Manhattan is an extremely popular classic cocktail. The chestnut Manhattan is a small variation on the whisky cocktail, but with a sweet twist. Chestnut liqueur is used for this. Absolutely delicious!

Galumbi Drinks and more had our Dover Azuki liqueur in a glass and wrote a great review about the product. You will also find a delicious recipe with the mezcal-based Azuki liqueur. Mixing is highly recommended!

Akebono No Ume Shochu cocktail

Kokuto shochu, i.e. shochu made from brown sugar, is a great alcoholic base for cocktails. Sato No Akebono Genshu with its 43% vol. is particularly suitable for mixing. In combination with umeshu and white vermouth, it can be used to quickly create a fruity cocktail. 

Vesper Japonaise - the classic with Japanese ingredients

The Vesper cocktail goes back to the author Ian Fleming, who invented it for his hero James Bond. Basically a variation on the Martini cocktail, the Versper is prepared with Lillet instead of Vermouth.

Kasu-Tini: a gin cocktail with a Japanese twist

The Kasu-Tini combines classic martini elements with shochu, in this case with Setsuguru Sake Kasu Shochu, made from Daiginjo sake pomace, which brings a lot of sake flavor to the drink. Quick and easy to prepare and simply delicious!

Sesame Negroni: Shochu cocktail with character

The Negroni is an extremely popular cocktail, whether mixed at home or drunk in your favorite bar. The great thing about this cocktail is that the alcoholic (basic) base, which is actually gin, can also be varied. The Negroni always tastes good! Even in a variation with shochu.

Nippon Algonquin: The classic in Japanese

The classic Algonquin cocktail was named after a historic hotel in Midtown Manhattan, New York, and combines (rye) whisky, vermouth and pineapple. We have modified it slightly with our Japanese spirits to create the Nippon Algonquin cocktail.

"Sweet Sweet Potato" - this shochu cocktail enchants everyone

Preparing a cocktail with a sweet potato shochu (imo shochu) is almost a fine art, as the imo often simply goes under. However, this drink is completely different. The sweet potato really shines here!
