Nippon Algonquin: The classic in Japanese

The classic Algonquin cocktail was named after a historic hotel in Midtown Manhattan, New York, and combines (rye) whisk(e)y, vermouth and pineapple.
We have modified this a little with our Japanese spirits to create the Nippon Algonquin cocktail. And it goes like this:
Ingredients:
- 4 cl Special Reserve Whisky
- 3 cl Awamori Fruits Club Pineapple Liqueur
- 2 cl dry vermouth (here: Dolin Dry)
- 0.5 cl simple syrup (here: Riemerschmid cane sugar)
Preparation:
Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all the ingredients. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass, and you'll feel a little closer to Japan!
