Tasting events at Atelier Ginza: Our dates until the end of July 2026!

Book your very special excursion into the world of Japanese spirits and sake. At each tasting, we present various distillates from different regions, from the southern tropical islands to the snowy mountains of northern Japan. You can also book an individual tasting event with us for groups of 6 or more!

Nippon Fuego - Far Eastern persimmon meets Mexican fire

A cocktail like a golden sunset, rich, spicy, and at the same time smooth and fruity. The "Nippon Fuego" combines the clear intensity of a tequila blanco with the velvety sweetness of the magnificent and delicious Dover Persimmon liqueur (kaki). This fiery and fresh drink is topped off with sparkling ginger beer.

Purist elegance from Miyazaki: Masaharu Gin

Discover the delicious Masaharu Gin from Miyazaki. It impresses with its purist elegance. Instead of relying on a multitude of botanicals, the long-established Yamaya Distillery trusts in the power of simplicity and striking aromas: only juniper berries, yuzu, and hebesu are used as botanicals for this craft gin. The rare hebesu, a citrus fruit native to Miyazaki, is similar to a lime but milder, rounder, and less bitter.

Drink warm, taste more: Shochu Oyuwari

Japan has a very special response to the cold, icy winter temperatures: Shochu Oyuwari. This traditional way of drinking is much more than just shochu with hot water. It is a ritual, a moment of slowing down and an invitation to consciously experience flavors. The rising aroma, the gentle warmth in the glass, and the smooth taste make Oyuwari the perfect companion for relaxed evenings, good food, or simply a quiet moment to yourself.

Heat it up! Warm sake for the soul

Winter has us firmly in its grip: icy air, cold hands, gray days. Right now, there is hardly anything more soothing than a small bowl of warm sake. A gentle steam rises, delicate aromas unfold, and from the very first sip, a pleasant warmth spreads through the body. Warm sake is balm for the mind and soul.

Ginza Berlin says thank you and wishes you a happy new year!

An exciting and eventful year lies behind us, and we would like to take this moment to say thank you. Thank you for your trust, your loyalty, and for accompanying Ginza Berlin this year. It is only because of you that our work is possible. Together, we have experienced many special moments, implemented new ideas, and continued to grow our portfolio of exclusive Japanese spirits and sake.

Exclusively with us: Akazake - a rarity with 1,200 years of history

Akazake is an absolute rarity from Kumamoto. Only two sake breweries still produce Akazake today - and one of them is our producer Zuiyo, which produces something particularly delicious with Tohi Aka-shu Akazake! Akazake is an ancient sake variety with a characteristic reddish-brown color and a history dating back over 1,200 years. Although the production process is similar to that of "normal" sake, Akazake is unique because wood ash is added during the production process.

19 new products in our store: Tea Shochu, Sake & Sparkling Sake, Liqueurs...

We have 19 great new products in our store. From new producers to old acquaintances, the range couldn't be more diverse. Very special aperitif liqueurs, an umeshu based on sesame shochu, green tea shochus, sparkling sake, sake such as nigori, yamahai and cup sake as well as gins are waiting to be discovered.

Happy Owl - whisky and shochu in the finest combination

Kofukuro Shochu is an extremely aromatic shochu made from roasted barley, which unfolds its beautiful notes of cocoa and coffee particularly well in the cocktail. In combination with whisky and paku-chii coriander, it reveals fruity and spicy nuances with depth.

Back in stock: Many popular products back in stock

Our new delivery has arrived and many popular products are back in stock. For example, the Kaga Umeshu in the large 720ml bottle, the Kagamizu Ginger Shochu, the Paku-chii Spirit Coriander, the Mumei Gin, Hassaku Rocks and the Crazy Octopus Shochu.

Introduced: Ten Sho Chu by Ooyama Jinchichi Shoten from Ibusuki

The Ten Sho Chu is a very special sweet potato shochu (imo shochu), as the yeast and koji for this shochu were grown in a NASA space shuttle in zero gravity. Incidentally, "Ten Sho Chu" means space shochu and is also an amusing play on words in relation to shochu. This great craft spirit is normally only available in liquor stores in Kagoshima Prefecture. And also from us!

Cherry Blossom Martini - fruity and complex

Even if it's not cherry blossom season, a cocktail with Sakura liqueur tastes good at any time of year. In this drink, we pair the popular liqueur with the Jin7 Series 02 Sakura Cask. Stored in cherry blossom wood barrels, this also has an intense cherry blossom aroma.
