Nippon Fuego - Far Eastern persimmon meets Mexican fire

A cocktail like a golden sunset, rich, spicy, and at the same time smooth and fruity. The "Nippon Fuego" combines the clear intensity of a tequila blanco with the velvety sweetness of the magnificent and deliciousDover Persimmon liqueur ( kaki). This fiery and fresh drink is topped off with sparkling ginger beer.

Persimmons are considered Japan for centuries as a symbol of good fortune, stability, and the beauty of autumn. Its bright orange color represents warmth and ripeness, while its flavor is naturally sweet with a delicate, honey-like depth. It is precisely this velvety aroma that Dover Persimmon Liqueur brings to the cocktail: soft, round, and with a subtle exotic note. Ginger beer plays a starring role: with its natural ginger spiciness, lively carbonation, and slightly lemony freshness, it enhances the fruity sweetness of the persimmon and provides a sparkling contrast to the warmth of the tequila.

You need:

- 4cl Tequila Blanco

- 2cl Dover Persimmon Liqueur

- 8cl ginger beer

Place a large ice cube in a tumbler, pour in the tequila blanco and Dover Persimmon liqueur one after the other. Top up with 8 cl ginger beer. Stir briefly and gently.

Cheers & Kanpai!
