First-class sesame shochus from Japan's south: Beniotome Shuzo

Beniotome Shuzo was founded in 1977 in Kurume in Fukuoka Prefecture on the Japanese island of Kyūshū. In 1978, the world's first spirit made from sesame was produced here. The inventor of the sesame shochu was the then 65-year-old Haruno Hayashida. After many attempts, she finally succeeded in creating the intense and complex taste of a sesame shochu and became a pioneer in this field.

Hot? Why not? Warm sake is a great option in winter! 🍶

It's getting cold again in Germany. That's why a warm sake is currently a great option to warm your body and mind. However, it is important to choose the right sake to warm you up. Not every sake should be warmed. High quality sake such as Ginjo sake or Junmai Daiginjos would lose a lot of their aroma. Sake such as Junmai or Honjozo sake, on the other hand, is very suitable for this purpose.
