New from us: Mars Whisky, Kanomori Gin, 3 new shochus

New products in our store: Mars Whisky, Kanomori Gin, Iki Shochus and DEN-EN Envelhecida

You can now find five new products in our store: The Mars Cosmo Maltage Whisky from Hombo Shuzo, the Kanomori Gin from Yomeishu, two craft shochus from Omoya Shuzo from Iki Island and the DEN-EN Envelhecida Sweet Potato Shochu.

With the two new shochus from Omoya Shuzo, we now have two Iki shochus from Iki Island, the birthplace of the barley shochu (mugi shochu), in our range. The small island is located 20 kilometers northwest of Kyūshū. The barley and rice for koji rice are grown on Iki Island by hand. The result is particularly aromatic and true craft shochus.

The Kakuzou has 41% vol. and is a Genshu Shochu, which means it is not diluted with water after distillation and is particularly aromatic.

The Chingu Kuro "Black Koji", on the other hand, has 25% vol. and the combination with black koji makes it something very special and very intense in taste.

Our new gin, Kanomori Gin by Yomeishu, is a firework of flavors with 18 botanicals and delights with kuromoji, also known as fever bush.

Mars Maltage Cosmo Whisky is blended from Hombo Shuzo's own single malt whisky as well as imported single malts from Scotland. The result is a full-bodied symbiosis of two great whisky nations, round and balanced in taste.

Last but not least, the DEN-EN Envelhecida, a sweet potato shochu (Imo Shochu) matured in toasted whisky barrels, not only impresses shochu fans.
