JapanFoodFestival on 6.+ 7.9. in the Urania

The JapanFoodFestival Berlin will take place for the first time on September 7 and 8. In addition to the classics sushi and sashimi, there will be countless Japanese specialties that are not all so well known and not so easy to find. Christian Wagner, who invented the big JapanFestivalBerlin and has already successfully organized it ten times, also developed the idea because of the ever-increasing demand for Japanese delicacies at the JapanFestival Berlin: "The JapanFoodFestival Berlin is a voyage of discovery for the palate and, in late summer, the culinary complement to the JapanFestival Berlin, which always takes place in January," says Wagner. The festival offers numerous exotic dishes, spices and Far Eastern taste experiences of an unusual kind, Japanese specialties authentically prepared by master chefs. These include ramen and udon, yakitori, teriyaki and tempura. Drinks include ramune, Japanese spirits such as shochu, awamori, gin, whisky and liqueurs, sake and sparkling sake, Japanese beer and much more.

We will be holding a shochu tasting on both days at 4 pm. Tickets will go on sale around three weeks before the event via Facebook/Eventbrite. A few tickets will also be available for sale on site at our stand.
