"Mukashi" - Hon Mirin in combination with whisky is always a good idea

 Hon Mirin is a high-quality Japanese sweet liqueur and one of the most important condiments in Japanese cuisine, in which it is widely used. Only a few and exclusively high-quality mirin are produced in Japan in drinking quality, such as our Hon Mirin Mukashi Ikomi. It is very smooth and elegant in taste and has an elegant natural sweetness, low acidity and a good portion of umami. Caramel notes can be tasted as well as light chocolate aromas, making it ideal in combination with whisky.

For the "Mukashi" you need:

- 3cl Nikka Miyagikyo Whisky

- 2cl Hon Mirin Mukashi Ikomi

- 1.5cl Grand Manier

- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Stir over ice in a mixing glass and strain into a cocktail glass.
