Gimlet Rocks - a gimlet with Hassaku Rocks

Making a gimlet is not difficult, and with Hassaku Rocks from Chugoku Jozo as an ingredient, it is a particularly refreshing and delicious cocktail. Hassaku is a great citrus fruit that originated in Hiroshima Prefecture. Botanically speaking, it is a type of orange that is grown and consumed exclusively in Japan. It tastes fresh, sweet and sour at the same time, like a mixture of orange and mandarin with a dash of lemon juice. Another important ingredient for a gimlet is gin. Here we recommend Sakurao Gin Original, as it is produced by Chugoku Jozo, just like Hassaku Rocks liqueur, and is ideally matched.

Ingredients:

  • 5 cl Sakurao Gin Original
  • 2 cl Hassaku Rocks liqueur

Preparation:

Pour all the ingredients into the mixing glass and add 4 to 5 medium-sized ice cubes, stir for about 30 seconds. Strain the contents into
a glass. Garnish with a lemon zest if desired.
