There is no spirit in the world with a greater variety of flavors than Japanese shochu. Over 53 raw materials are permitted for production, from classics such as barley, rice and sweet potato to unusual variants made from green peppers, sesame or fever bush. We have selected 7 exciting examples of shochu and its close relative, awamori, for you.
At our exclusive tasting events, you will learn all about the producers, production methods and drinking methods of our fine distillates. Of course, we will also let you taste plenty of them and tell you exciting and funny anecdotes from our trips to the land of the rising sun. The tasting starts at 18:00 and will be held in German. The tasting lasts 2 hours, until 20:00.
