The Shizuoka Pot Still K Imported Barley 1st Edition is a magnificent and rare Japanese whisky that was produced in a very small batch of just 2,500 bottles. This single malt whisky is also distilled in the only remaining pot still at the legendary Karuizawa Distillery. After maturing for just over 3 years in bourbon casks, it is bottled at a strong 55%.

The Pot Still K Imported Barley 1st Edition is produced by the Shizuoka distillery, founded in 2016 by Taiko Nakamura. The distillery is characterized by its unique pot stills, including the world's only wood-fired, directly heated still, which gives the whisky its characteristic taste. This single malt is also made from 100% imported barley, which gives it a smooth and fruity aroma, complemented by a very slight smokiness.

Aroma: Herbal components, slightly mineral with mint.

Taste: Fruity with light smoke and spicy oak.

Finish: Long and aromatic with light citrus notes and aromatic malt.
