An absolute specialty from Hokkaido is the Niseko Coffee Shochu, which is preferably mixed with cold milk and enjoyed on the rocks. Made from spring water from Mount Yotei, rice and coffee beans (over 9%) from Honduras, this shochu is extremely aromatic and has an intense coffee flavor. The coffee beans are fermented and then distilled, which is why the color of this shochu is clear and colorless.

Whether with milk, on ice or oyuwari, i.e. extended with warm water - this shochu is simply fun in a glass. The aroma of freshly ground coffee is immediately apparent on the nose. On the palate, the taste is long-lasting and intense. With 25% alcohol, the Coffee Shochu is smooth and mild and an absolute must for every coffee lover! It is also perfect for exciting cocktails. Our tip - use it instead of vodka for an espresso martini! Incidentally, it is a dream not only when mixed with cold milk, but also with hot milk and a little milk foam.

About the manufacturer

Niseko Shuzo was founded in 1919 in Kutchan, Hokkaido, and has been producing the finest sake and shochu ever since. The region is known as one of the snowiest areas in Hokkaido, and a popular tourist destination. The brewery is located in the middle of the Niseko mountain range, surrounded by nature, and uses only local rice. The sake and distillates are also produced using natural spring water from Mount Yotei. As the brewery is located in a region with heavy snowfall, the natural conditions are ideal for fermentation at low temperatures. The sake from Niseko Shuzo is one of the most popular on Hokkaido.
