The Hime Yuzu Umeshu is the perfect symbiosis of delicious Umeshu and fresh yuzu fruit. With 15% alcohol volume, it is an ideal aperitif, but also very suitable as a dessert wine. The Umeshu is exclusively prepared with the white Kaga-Ume from the Gunma prefecture. This special variety is particularly suitable for the production of the traditional Japanese liqueur.
The Hime Yuzu Umeshu is produced by the Hitachi Sake Brewery in Hitachi City in Ibaraki Prefecture. Only natural ingredients are used. The alcoholic base for this yuzu umeshu is a rice shochu, and the carefully selected fruits come from the Kaga Ume. The yuzu fruits are rich in vitamin C and provide a pleasant fresh taste. The individual flavors are very balanced and leave fine sweet-sour notes of ume and yuzu.
The Hime Yuzu Umeshu is wonderfully refreshing with 15% vol and should be enjoyed chilled. It is also very suitable to be mixed with soda (1:1), as well as an ingredient for fresh cocktails.
