The Hime Vanilla Umeshu is the perfect combination of delicious umeshu and fine vanilla without being overpowering. This umeshu is made exclusively with white kaga ume from Gunma Prefecture. This special variety is particularly suitable for making the traditional Japanese liqueur.

Hime Umeshu Vanilla is produced by the Hitachi Sake Brewery in Hitachi City in Ibaraki Prefecture. Only natural ingredients are used. The alcoholic base for this vanilla umeshu is a rice shochu, while the carefully selected fruit comes from the Kaga Ume. The fine vanilla note harmonizes particularly well with the beautiful acidity of the ume. The individual flavors are very well balanced and leave subtle sweet and sour notes of ume and vanilla.

At 15% vol, Hime Vanilla Umeshu is wonderfully refreshing and should be enjoyed chilled. It is also very suitable for mixing with soda (1:1) and as an ingredient for elegant cocktails. As an aperitif or dessert wine, this Umeshu is an ideal accompaniment to food. The bottle is very tastefully designed and is ideal as a gift. Once opened, the contents should be kept in the fridge.
