Cherry Blossom Festival 2019 in the Gardens of the World and Hanami Festival in Teltow
The big cherry blossom festival in Marzahn marks the start of spring for the 13th time. On April 14, when the cherry trees are in full bloom, the Gärten der Welt will ring in the new garden and event season. As usual, we will be on site with a stand and look forward to meeting you there.
The cherry blossom is a symbol of transience and beauty because it can only be admired for a few days each year. The magical lightness of the cherry blossom makes visitors' hearts beat faster and bathes the gardens of the world in a touch of pink, white and purple. The delicate scent of spring, Asian music and dance invite you to enjoy and join in the celebrations.
Visit us between 12 - 5 pm in the Gardens of the World. Admission costs €7, reduced €3.

Just two weeks later, on April 28, you will find us at the Hanami Festival in Teltow on the Berlin Wall Trail. Over 1000 blossoming cherry trees form the magnificent backdrop for this fantastic festival on the former border strip between Ostpreußendamm and Japan-Eck. Two stages will provide entertainment at the cherry blossom festival: the Japan stage at the Seehof market square and the family stage in Sigridshorst. It starts at 1 pm. You will find us at the Seehof market square.
