The Seven Seas Japanese Rum matures for over three years in untreated American oak barrels. This can also be tasted directly. Delicious vanilla notes are dominant, along with coriander leaf and green banana. The Seven Seas is very light and pleasant. Fine notes of orange are added on the tongue, and a hint of stone fruit is also undeniable. Seven Seas has a good consistency and atomizes pleasantly in the mouth. The antique label, natural cork and band give the bottle a chic and high-quality elegance. Seven Seas is produced by the Kikusui Shuzo rum distillery in Kuroshio in Kochi Prefecture in the south of the island of Shikoku, Japan's smallest main island. The distillery is known as the oldest sugar cane producer in Japan.
On its own or as a base for elegant cocktails, this rum is an absolute delight.
