Whiskey has long since ceased to come only from Scotland, Ireland, or the U.S. Other countries have also made a name for themselves when it comes to “liquid gold.” Leading the way is Japan, as the Land of the Rising Sun is now considered one of the major whiskey-producing nations. This is common knowledge. However, not all whiskey fans are yet familiar with the history of Japanese whiskey—which boasts a long tradition—or with the merits of Japanese whiskey. At our Japanese Whiskey Tasting, we’ll introduce you to six whiskeys. We’ll be joined for the evening by a true whiskey expert: Lucas-Andreas Werner, World Whiskey Ambassador at Kirsch Whiskey.
At our exclusive tasting events, you’ll learn all about the producers, production methods, and ways to enjoy our fine spirits. Of course, we’ll also let you sample plenty of them, and along the way, we’ll share exciting and funny anecdotes from our travels to the Land of the Rising Sun. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., and the tasting will be conducted in German. The tasting lasts 2 hours, until 8:30 p.m.
