Dover Kinkan Liqueur (Kumquat)

Kumquats originally come from Asia and are also known here as dwarf oranges or dwarf bitter oranges. The Dover Kinkan liqueur has a great balance between sweetness and acidity. The peel and flesh are processed, with the peel tasting rather tart and sweet and the flesh slightly sour. As an ingredient for cocktails, it can replace a classic orange liqueur in terms of flavor. The Kinkan liqueur is versatile and was developed by Dover not only for the professional bar scene, but also for the production of pastries, confectionery and desserts.
