Award-winning: These Japanese spirits are winning over the experts

Exciting news from Paris and Tokyo: Several of our Japanese spirits and sakes have won awards at prestigious competitions—the Kura Master in Paris and the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC).

Kura Master

Kura Master is considered one of the most exciting competitions for Japanese beverages worldwide. Held annually in Paris, this competition is also highly regarded by our Japanese producers. The jury consists primarily of French sommeliers, restaurant professionals, and beverage experts. The judges evaluate not only the quality itself, but also how harmoniously sake and spirits fit into the world of gastronomy. It is precisely this combination of Japanese craftsmanship and international sophistication that makes the competition so special. At the Kura Master, our Gin No Sato Sparkling Sake, the Green Tea Shochu Gyokuro, and the Masaharu Gin all secured gold medals.

Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC)

Equally significant is the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC), Japan’s largest international spirits competition. Here, experienced bartenders and industry experts from around the world blind-taste hundreds of products and select the best bottlings of the year. The TWSC has quickly become one of the most important awards for Japanese spirits. Mayan No Tsubuyaki Shochu and Kanomori Gin took home gold. Wa Bi Gin secured silver.

We are particularly pleased that several products from our range have won gold and silver medals at these prestigious competitions, which once again demonstrates just how exciting and high-quality the world of Japanese spirits is.
