JapanFestival Berlin at the Urania for the 11th time: 450 live artists, 120 exhibitors
On January 25 and 26, 2019, the Urania will once again be transformed into a Japanese show stage under the direction of Christian Wagner, and we will of course be there again: Visit us as usual on the 3rd floor in the "Exclusive Japan" area and immerse yourself in the culture and cuisine that Japan has to offer.
The JapanFestival offers an enormous artistic and cultural diversity of Japan from the fields of art, culture, lifestyle and tourism. Over 450 artists, musicians, dancers and actors present a non-stop live program in two concert halls on two stages for 36 hours. Special guests include the unique Japanese Taiko drummer Itchitaro and, at the invitation of the Japanese Embassy, surprise artists from the Land of the Rising Sun.
Over 120 exhibitors will be presenting "Japanese things" on four levels, from bonsai, Japanese tea, kimonos, accessories, tourist information, manga, anime and cosplay accessories, Japanese art and design to culinary delicacies such as sushi, Japanese chocolatier art, Japanese baked goods, onigirazu and Japanese spirits. As usual, you will find a large selection of Japanese whisky, gin, shochu, sparkling sake and liqueurs at our stand.
The JapanFestival Berlin is open on Saturday, 25.01.2019 from 10.00 to 20.00 and on Sunday, 26.01.2019 from 10.00 to 18.00. The day ticket costs 17 euros on Saturday and 16 euros on Sunday, the two-day ticket 30 euros (including all performances).
