The Manzairaku Sake Kura Brewery is located in Hakusan, at the foot of the mountain of the same name. The area is famous for its clear and medium-hard water, which is particularly suitable for sake brewing. The brewery has existed since the Edo period, and was founded in 1716. There are about 35 sake breweries in Ishikawa Prefecture, which have special craftsmanship and produce both fine and complex sake. The traditional art of brewing is preserved here. At the same time, the challenges of the modern age are also met. Most breweries are small and can only produce small quantities. Ishikawamon Junmai is made from 100% Ishikawamon rice, a local rice variety developed by the Ishikawa Prefecture and the Sake Brewing Association. This sake rice has a low protein content and is particularly delicious. Ishikawawon Junmai tastes pure and refreshing with subtle fruity notes. It is easy to drink and a nice allrounder in food pairing.
Enjoy Ishikawamon Junmai Sake well chilled in a special sake glass or alternatively in a white wine glass.
